Football Game Preview: New Glarus Glarner Knights vs. River Valley Blackhawks + Official Tickets

The New Glarus Glarner Knights will square off against the River Valley Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, New Glarus came up short against Prairie du Chien and fell 36-28. The loss was the Glarner Knights' first of the season.

Meanwhile, River Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hillmen 28-26. 28 seems to be a good number for the Blackhawks as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

River Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for New Glarus, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 6-1.

New Glarus strolled past River Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 36-20. Will the Glarner Knights repeat their success, or do the Blackhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
