Softball Recap: Washington Latin Public Charter School Takes a Loss

Washington Latin Public Charter School fell victim to Jackson-Reed and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 34 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Washington Latin Public Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Jackson-Reed, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Latin Public Charter School will challenge School Without Walls at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson-Reed, they will square off against Sidwell Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
