Basketball Recap: Glenn Has No Trouble Against Kouts

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Glenn on Tuesday. They strolled past the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies with points to spare, taking the game 43-26.

Addison Reese had a dynamite game for Glenn, going 7 of 15 en route to 20 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Reese a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Daelynn Nance, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Glenn was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kouts only racked up four assists.

Kouts lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sophia Tikalsky, who had seven points.

Glenn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Kouts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Glenn will face off against Plymouth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plymouth will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Glenn surely won't give up without a fight. Kouts has already played their next match, a 76-17 win against Boone Grove on the 30th.
