Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Falls Short Against Ranked Daniel

Hillcrest faced Daniel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Hillcrest sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23.

Tamera Anderson paced Hillcrest's offense, picking up four kills. Anderson got some help from Liz Jones and her seven assists.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Daniel, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Hillcrest has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Wren on the 26th. As for Daniel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Easley on the 23rd.
