Recap: West Milford vs. Lakeland Regional
The Lakeland Regional Lancers were successful in their previous meeting against the West Milford Highlanders, and they didn't afford West Milford any payback this time around. The Lancers captured a comfortable 54-37 win over West Milford on Tuesday. This was a must-win game for Lakeland Regional as they bounced back from a huge upset against Mahwah last week.
The victory bumped Lakeland Regional's record up to 12-3. This is the second loss in a row for West Milford and nudges their record down to 6-12.
Lakeland Regional is staying on the road today to face off against Wayne Hills. The Lancers won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for the Highlanders, they will face off against Passaic Valley today. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
