Volleyball Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Bishop Kenny Crusaders

The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors will head out to face off against the Bishop Kenny Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Trinity Christian Academy is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since August 27th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Fleming Island.

Meanwhile, Bishop Kenny beat Ridgeview 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Bishop Kenny was staring down a 1-0 deficit headed into the second set, but they rallied to take the next three for the win. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-23, 25-18, 25-11.

Bishop Kenny can attribute much of their success to Alexis Sowers, who had 20 digs and three aces, and Caroline Snyder, who had ten digs and 20 assists. Snyder is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted eight or more in the last eight games she's played.

Bishop Kenny was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted was before the start of last season.

Trinity Christian Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Bishop Kenny, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Trinity Christian Academy took their victory against Bishop Kenny when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0.
