Basketball Recap: Beaumont United Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sterling last Monday, Beaumont United came back down to earth. The Beaumont United Timberwolves fell to the Port Arthur Memorial Titans 40-36. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 49-38.

Beaumont United's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Port Arthur Memorial, their record now sits at 5-17.

Beaumont United will welcome Barbers Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaumont United is on a six-game streak of home wins, Barbers Hill a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Port Arthur Memorial has already played their next matchup (against Port Neches-Groves), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
