Basketball Recap: Ethan Jaramillo and Will Stollings Secure Win for Amarillo Collegiate Academy

Amarillo Collegiate Academy hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They snuck past Non Varsity Opponent with a 49-43 victory on Tuesday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Non Varsity Opponent, too.

Leading Amarillo Collegiate Academy to victory were Will Stollings and Ethan Jaramillo. Stollings went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points, while Jaramillo went 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points. Those 13 points gave Jaramillo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Holly, who posted eight points.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy will challenge Amarillo HomeSchool F at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-42 victory against Tanalian on the 7th.
