Volleyball Recap: St. Genevieve Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Genevieve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Taft Toreadors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Valiants of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

St. Genevieve was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Taft work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-6, 29-27.

St. Genevieve's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Genevieve will face off against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Taft, they will venture away from home to face off against Castaic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
