Mesa had won seven straight games and Taylor Morris did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Jackrabbits came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-37 W against the Dobson Mustangs with plenty of help from Morris, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Dobson lost, don't look at Aliana Garcia. Despite the final result, she went 7-for-17 to rack up 26 points and three steals.

Mesa's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Dobson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Mesa will head out to square off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dobson, they will face off against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.21 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
