Baseball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Kentridge Chargers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Chargers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Auburn's record now sits at 1-7. As for Kentridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

While Auburn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
