Hampshire entered their tilt with Cary-Grove on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Hampshire easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13.

Elizabeth King paced Hampshire's offense, picking up nine kills. King got some help from Kylie Lambert and her 15 assists. Lambert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hampshire's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Cary-Grove, they dropped their record down to 8-26 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hampshire is set to take on their familiar foe Huntley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cary-Grove will square off against rival Jacobs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
