It was a good run, but West Potomac unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the West Springfield Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat two weeks ago.

West Potomac's loss dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for West Springfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-2 record this season.

While West Potomac had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
