Softball Recap: Raines Comes Up Short

Raines lost to Stanton back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 17-2.

Raines' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Stanton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Raines has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Harvest Christian Academy on the 16th. As for Stanton, they will welcome Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
