Morton waltzed into their game on Saturday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They skirted past the Manual Rams 53-51. For the Potters, this counts as revenge for the 42-34 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Manual still got an impressive performance from Dietrich Richardson, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrance Paige, who earned ten points.

Morton pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Manual, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Morton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-41 victory against Limestone on the 5th. As for Manual, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-43 defeat against Peoria on the 7th.
