The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils will square off against the Richland Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bellwood-Antis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Bellwood-Antis turned things around against Clearfield on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bison by a score of 9-5.

The team relied heavily on Chase Plummer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Berkowitz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bellwood-Antis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Richland nor Hollidaysburg made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Rams fell just short of the Golden Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bellwood-Antis, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
