Basketball Game Preview: Biddeford Tigers vs. Sanford Spartans

The Biddeford Tigers will square off against the Sanford Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Biddeford came up short against Marshwood and fell 44-32. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Sanford also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Portland by a score of 63-54. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Biddeford's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3. As for Sanford, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
