Basketball Recap: Clint Lions vs. Irvin Rockets
Clint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irvin Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 45-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.
Irvin was led to victory by Keanu Timoteo and Sebastian Sepulveda. Timoteo went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points plus seven rebounds, while Sepulveda almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Anthony Badajosa was another key player, scoring six points plus four steals.
