Softball Recap: Warsaw Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Warsaw had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Whitko Wildcats, falling 14-4. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Ellyse Walters made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Raegan Robinson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Warsaw has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 victory against Jimtown on the 25th. As for Whitko, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Churubusco at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
