Basketball Recap: Gambell Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Gambell waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 66-60 W against the Anthony Andrews Storm. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-47 last Friday.

Gambell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jarvis Campbell-Soonagrook, who posted 21 points. Campbell-Soonagrook's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Damian Campbell-Newhall was another key player, putting up 25 points.

Gambell pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points over those games. As for Anthony Andrews, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

As of now, neither Gambell nor Anthony Andrews have any future games scheduled.
