Volleyball Recap: Durango Takes a Loss

Durango was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catalina Foothills Falcons.

Zachary Wooten paced Durango's offense, picking up four kills. Wooten were helped by James Carl Serrano and Jonathan Morales, who contributed four assists each. Morales was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Durango's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Catalina Foothills, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Durango didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Bonanza on the 1st. As for Catalina Foothills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Las Vegas on the 1st.
