Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale lost against Mt. Zion back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Riverdale Raiders took a 39-20 bruising from the Mt. Zion Bulldogs.

Mt. Zion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from OLIVIA ROSS, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of MISA RODRIGUES, who put up 14 points.

Riverdale's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Mt. Zion, their victory bumped their record up to 5-18.

Riverdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-21 defeat against North Clayton on the 7th. As for Mt. Zion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-28 loss against Stephenson on the 7th.
