Coral Gables barely beat Coral Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Coral Gables Cavaliers were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over the Coral Park Rams on Wednesday. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Kevon Caffey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Caffey was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Alex Carmona was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Timothy Negron, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Coral Gables' victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Coral Park, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Coral Gables will challenge Ferguson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Gables is facing Ferguson at the right time seeing as Ferguson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Coral Park, they will square off against Braddock at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
