Baseball Recap: Bandys Wins Going Away Against Lincolnton

Bandys lost to Lincolnton back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Trojans blew past the Wolves 9-1.

Mikey Miley was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Bandys' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-8 when he doesn't). Drake Tucker was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Bandys' record now sits at 4-8. As for Lincolnton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bandys will challenge Maiden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincolnton, they will face off against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gryphons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.4 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
