South Fulton posted their closest victory since August 25th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Lake County Falcons 3-2. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
South Fulton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 24-25, 25-19, 25-18, 17-15.
Gabi Long paced South Fulton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Long got some help from Samantha Auxier and her 25 assists. Long also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lilie Martin, each putting up five.
