Football Recap: Trimble County Takes a Loss

Trimble County fell victim to Holy Cross and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Indians 58-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Charles Oglesby had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 96 yards and two scores on only seven carries for Holy Cross. Brian Ferguson was another key player, throwing for 88 yards and three TDs.

This is the second loss in a row for Trimble County and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Holy Cross, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trimble County will face off against rival Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Holy Cross is set to square off against their familiar foe Ludlow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
