Mt. Vernon won the last time they faced Herrin and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mt. Vernon put the hurt on Herrin with a sharp 11-1 win.

Danicah Tobin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Tobin was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
