Volleyball Game Preview: Tolman Tigers vs. Randolph Blue Devils

The Tolman Tigers will challenge the Randolph Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tolman will be strutting in after a win while Randolph will be coming in after a loss.

Tolman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Central, who was ranked 21st at the time (Tolman was ranked ninth). The Tigers blew past the Knights 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tolman took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Brockton.

Tolman's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
