Football Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew lost against Central Fellowship Christian Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions took a 32-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Patrick Jackson threw for 113 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes. Darius Chapman was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Amari Cook rushed for 155 yards and two scores on only nine carries.

St. Andrew's now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

St. Andrew's wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 48-22 loss against Briarwood Academy on the 5th. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-27 defeat against Flint River Academy on the 5th.
