Grand Saline is on a three-game streak of home losses, Cumberland Academy a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Grand Saline Indians will host the Cumberland Academy Knights at 5:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Grand Saline fell victim to Athens and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 8-0. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Van who was credited with the win. Van got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Cumberland Academy's two.

Cumberland Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Grand Saline, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
