Big Game from Clayton As Bolivar Central Won 36-12

Starting off the list is Bolivar Central's Noah Clayton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Clayton threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown.

Bolivar Central's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4. Clayton will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Liberty Tech Magnet on Friday.

Graham Simpson and Co. Win Ninth in a Row

Westview picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Graham Simpson. Simpson was unstoppable, throwing for 184 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Westview pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Simpson and Westview will challenge Covington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kealan Polk Turns in Season-Best Performance

Bolivar Central was led to victory by Kealan Polk, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Polk picked up 66 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Bolivar Central's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
