Basketball Game Preview: Central Lancers vs. Parkway Northwest Hoyas

The Central Lancers will challenge the Parkway Northwest Hoyas at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Central has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Parkway Northwest will arrive with four straight wins.

Last Tuesday, Central came up short against John Bartram and fell 54-43. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while the Braves are ranked 273rd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkway Northwest). They put the hurt on Randolph Vo-Tech with a sharp 74-54 victory on Tuesday.

Parkway Northwest had a senior duo take command as Jaicir Isaac posted 18 points and Xavier Dyer earned 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Isaac has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kahleem Jordan, who scored ten points.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Parkway Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
