Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the East Palestine Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-8.

Zardai Banks paced Liberty's offense, picking up five kills. Banks got some help from Kiera Thigpen and her seven assists. Banks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for East Palestine, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Liberty has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Kennedy Catholic on the 11th. As for East Palestine, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waterloo at 7:00 p.m.
