While Wenonah's victory against Woodlawn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dragons had just enough and edged out the Colonels 3-2 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Dragons as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Woodlawn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Wenonah will head out to take on John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodlawn, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cornerstone at 5:00 p.m. on October 2.
