Softball Preview: Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds vs. Ballston Spa Scotties        
        
		
            
 Kellenberg Memorial has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  square off against the Ballston Spa Scotties at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Kellenberg Memorial's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so Ballston Spa's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 Kellenberg Memorial will head out to face Ballston Spa after giving up their first home loss of the season  last Wednesday. Kellenberg Memorial took  a  6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Anthony's.
 Meanwhile, Ballston Spa put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. They blew past Albany 11-1. The high-scoring effort was just what Ballston Spa needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
  Hadley Donnelly was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Donnelly was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Ballston Spa let  Madelyn Perrone and  Carlie Koebbeman loose on the outfield. Perrone  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-2, while  Koebbeman  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI.  Jadyn Fives was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Kellenberg Memorial's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 4-2. As for Ballston Spa, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record  this season.
