Basketball Recap: Red Creek Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Rose-Wolcott last Monday, Red Creek came back down to earth. The Red Creek Rams took a 55-39 bruising from the Gananda Central Blue Panthers on Wednesday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Blue Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last nine times they've met.

Red Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Gananda Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Coming up, Red Creek won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sodus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Creek is facing Sodus at the right time seeing as Sodus is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Gananda Central, they will challenge Williamson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
