Basketball Recap: The Woodlands Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Woodlands Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions and fell 57-18. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.

Legacy Prep Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Wilson led the charge by going 11 for 20 to rack up 25 points and five steals. Wilson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Freeman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

The Woodlands Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-3.

As of now, neither The Woodlands Christian Academy nor Legacy Prep Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
