Fallston dropped their record down to 18-6 on Friday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They came up short against  Catoctin, falling  9-0. The shutout was out of character for Fallston seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in April.
As for Catoctin, the  win was  the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1-1. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games.
For Catoctin's part, Fallston's batters probably weren't too happy with  Taylor Smith, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up 16 Ks (she gave up three walks). Smith has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in 13 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Abagayle Shives was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Aubrie Courtney, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  double and one  RBI.
As of now, neither Fallston nor Catoctin have any future games scheduled.
