Soccer Game Preview: Buffalo Grove vs. Palatine

The Buffalo Grove Bison will challenge the Palatine Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buffalo Grove's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Buffalo Grove fell victim to Grayslake Central and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Palatine kept a clean sheet against Rolling Meadows on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Palatine.

Autumn Johnson and Ava Millan scored both of Palatine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Palatine pushed their record up to 6-1-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Buffalo Grove, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
