Basketball Recap: Northeast Jones Comes Up Short

Northeast Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a 46-29 bruising from the Mendenhall Tigers. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against Northeast Jones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-22 back in January.

Northeast Jones' loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Mendenhall, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-12 record.

Northeast Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mendenhall, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mendenhall Tigers face off against the Morton Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morton will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Mendenhall surely won't give up without a fight.
