Laylah Gaona and Kate Humphreys secure win for Clifton

Recap: Clifton Cubs vs. Keene Chargers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maypearl, the Clifton Cubs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They slipped by Keene 43-42. This was payback for Clifton, who suffered a 38-32 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Leading Clifton to victory were Laylah Gaona and Kate Humphreys. Gaona scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Humphreys scored nine points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Addison Martin, who scored six points along with two steals.
Clifton's win bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Keene, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-14.
Clifton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Keene also has no future games currently scheduled.
