Flag Football Recap: Legend Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Legend couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 48-26 to the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles on Saturday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Although Legend took the loss, they still got scores from Jaida Reuter, Lucy Thompson, Presli Easley, and Madi Smolen.

Ariana Akey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mountain Vista, rushing for 104 yards and five touchdowns, while also throwing for 365 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.5% of her passes. Akey also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending one pass.

Legend's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Mountain Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 19-0.

As of now, neither Legend nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
