Football Recap: Lamoni Takes a Loss

Lamoni was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Union Eagles. The Demons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lamoni's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for East Union, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamoni will take on Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Demons will be up against the Cowboys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for East Union, they will face off against Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
