            Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Redskins vs. Temple Christian Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            Arcadia's game  on Wednesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  victory over the Temple Christian Pioneers. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.

Leading Arcadia to victory were  Ivy Smith and  Ryleigh Bostic.  Smith  had eight  aces and four  digs, while  Bostic  had ten  kills, four  digs,  and two  aces. Bostic has been hot, having  posted five or more  kills the last seven times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Lexi Theis, who  had four  aces and three  digs.
 They weren't the only good servers: Arcadia  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they serve at least ten aces.
  Logan Smith and  Alexis Shade certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss.  Smith  had ten  digs, while  Shade  had eight  digs.
Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Temple Christian, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record  this season.
 Arcadia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-1  win against Cardinal Stritch on the 27th. As for Temple Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  defeat against Cory-Rawson on the 27th.
