Basketball Recap: Scituate Takes a Loss

Scituate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Duxbury Dragons and fell 55-23. The Sailors were probably out for revenge after losing 57-34 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Scituate's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Duxbury, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Scituate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-33 defeat against Hanover on the 14th. Duxbury has also already played their next game (against Whitman-Hanson Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
