Basketball Recap: St. Regis Falls Takes a Loss

St. Regis Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks and fell 77-45. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-38 back in December of 2024.

Felix Bodeewes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tupper Lake, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 15 rebounds. The match was Bodeewes' fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Colin Strack, who went 5 for 12 en route to 14 points and seven boards.

St. Regis Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Tupper Lake, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

St. Regis Falls has already played their next game (against St. Lawrence Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tupper Lake, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-46 loss against Brushton-Moira on the 7th.
