Baseball Recap: West Hardin Comes Up Short

West Hardin lost against Sabine Pass last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oilers came up short against the Sharks, falling 15-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Oilers have suffered against the Sharks since April 16, 2021.

This is the second loss in a row for West Hardin and nudges their season record down to 1-16. As for Sabine Pass, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hardin will challenge Hull-Daisetta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Oilers are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Sabine Pass, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Leggett at 5:00 p.m.
