Basketball Game Recap: Northland Lutheran Wildcats vs. Elcho Hornets

Northland Lutheran won the last time they faced Elcho, and Josslin Adams did her part to make sure it happened again. The Northland Lutheran Wildcats breezed by the Elcho Hornets to the tune of 51-24 on Monday thanks in part to Adams, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Northland Lutheran's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Rohland, who posted seven points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Elcho, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northland Lutheran will host Port Edwards at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northland Lutheran has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Elcho, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wabeno/Laona at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th.
