Baseball Recap: Shiner Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Shiner was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Hallettsville Brahmas, falling 18-2. The loss continues a trend for the Comanches in their meetings with the Brahmas: they've now lost four in a row.

Shiner saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Christiansen, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Shiner's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Hallettsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
