Basketball Recap: New Richmond Comes Up Short

New Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eau Claire North Huskies. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 81-69.

New Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Eau Claire North, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the New Richmond Tigers take on the River Falls Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eau Claire North has already played their next match (against Menomonie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
